We, at YardDoc, hope you have a happy and safe holiday season. Contact us and let us know how we can increase the joy for you and your guests.
We will help with part or all of the designing, placing, or taking down and storing your holiday lighting to make your season more festive.
Never underestimate the importance of mulch. A Winter mulching protects your plants against freezing, ensuring a healthy landscape when Spring returns.
Now is a good time to plant some winter color. Talk to us about which plants work best with your yard.
You can now reduce run times on your pool to 8 hours a day. Over the next weeks, many falling leaves will find their way into your pool. To prevent damage to your basket and pump, we suggest cleaning them out daily, or more often if necessary.
If you don’t have a functional freeze guard on your pool, set your timers to start at 4 AM through the coldest part of the Winter. Additionally, on the night of a freeze, set your pool equipment to run through the night.

Additional Freeze Tip
Now is a good time to cover your external water taps. If your water pipes and/or taps remain exposed to the cold, let your taps drip slightly. This allows warmer water to move through the pipes, which helps resist freezing. This can help prevent a pipe burst when it is cold enough that the water freezes.
From December 23rd to December 27th, we will be running a skeleton staff and only servicing emergencies.
As always, we will do our best to work around your needs and schedule. We appreciate your understanding as our staff spends time celebrating with their friends and family.
However you celebrate, the staff here at YardDoc wishes happy holidays to you and yours.
